Be a Key Player in the Transfer Game!  Attend the OTC Annual Conference 2007!


The Ohio Transfer Council Annual Conference "Be a Key Player in the Transfer Game!" will be held Friday, June 1, 2007, in Columbus, Ohio, at the Hyatt Regency Columbus Convention Center.  Session topics include:

    Enhancing and Extending the Expertise of Community College Counselors
    Transfer Students of Color and Articulation Agreements
    Building a Rock Solid Transition: An Integrated Approach to Transfer Matriculation

Registration which is only $75 and includes a one year membership to OTC should be received by May 3rd.

Information regarding the David Gall Memorial Scholarship for 2007-2008 now available!

The David Gall Memorial Scholarship application, eligibility requirements, as well as a list of  the participating OTC institutions and an informational brochure for students are all now available.Click here!

Ohio Transfer Council Awards David Gall Memorial Scholarships for 2006-2007

The Ohio Transfer Council recently awarded five David Gall Memorial Scholarships.  Each recipient received a $2,000 non-renewable scholarship for the 2006-2007 academic year.    The five recipients are:

Patricia Britton, transferring to Walsh University from Stark State College

Sarah Frank, transferring to Walsh University from Ashland University

Curt Sparks, transferring to Miami University from Sinclair Community College

Amy Storrow, transferring to Kent State University from Lorain County Community College

Aisha Bryant, transferring to University of Cincinnati from Cincinnati State Community College

 To be eligible for the 2006-2007 scholarships, students were required to be transferring from a participating OTC college to a participating OTC college.  Students must have completed at least 30 semester credit hours or 45 quarter credit hours, and had a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average during their undergraduate coursework.  Cleveland Scholarship Programs (CSP) administered the scholarship program and will be doing so for 2007-2008. For a list of participating institutions see the link below.  Information regarding the 2007-2008 scholarship program will be available in 2007. 
   

   

Next OTC  Executive Board Meeting
