Dual Degree/Joint Admission Programs

Hiram College and the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) have established a Dual Degree/Joint Admission Program that will enable students to earn an associate's degree in criminal justice from CCAC and a bachelor's degree in sociology/anthropology from Hiram. Students will complete the program in four years, earning their associate’s degree from CCAC in the first two years, and their bachelor’s degree from Hiram in the final two years. CCAC and Hiram will admit students into the program for the first time in the fall of 2004.

Students accepted into the program must meet all of the admission and academic requirements for both institutions and will be charged the corresponding tuition and fees for coursework taken on each campus. Students are expected to maintain a "C" or better grade point average in all courses prior to transitioning to Hiram College. Those admitted into the program will enjoy the rights and privileges of all other students at both Hiram and CCAC.
